E-Z stripes™ consist of properly spaced scale stripes adhered to a flexible, transparent carrier strip. They are merely pressed in place, burnished lightly, and the carrier removed. E-Z stripes™ have a permanent acrylic adhesive and will adhere to most any clean surface. Like decals, best adhesion will be obtained when they are applied over a hard gloss finish. Latex house paints as a base coat should be avoided since they commonly contain release agents to make the paint washable, and these agents interfere with proper adhesion of the stripes.
